Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Introduction
JD Align Pty Ltd (ABN 87 695 417 648) operates JD Align, a subscription-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform providing AI-powered resume evaluation and job matching services. JD Align also offers QuickPacks, one-time digital purchases for structured interview packs, technical quiz packs, and cognitive ability tests.
This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how subscription cancellations, one-time digital purchases, and billing matters are handled.
2. Refunds
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period has commenced.
JD Align does not provide partial refunds for unused subscription time or unused screening units, except where required by applicable consumer protection laws.
If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us within 14 days of the billing date so we can review your request.
QuickPacks digital purchases are generally non-refundable once a pack, quiz, or cognitive test has been successfully generated and made available to you. If you were charged in error, experienced a technical failure that prevented delivery, or believe there has been a billing mistake, please contact us within 7 days of purchase so we can review the issue in accordance with this policy and applicable law.
3. Usage-Based Charges
Certain features, including resume screening units or add-on services, may be billed based on usage.
Usage charges incurred during a billing cycle are non-refundable once processed, except where required by law.
One-time QuickPacks purchases are not subscription charges and do not create recurring billing. Each purchase generates a fresh digital pack or assessment for the job information and setup provided at the time of purchase.
4. Cancellations
You may cancel your subscription at any time via your JD Align dashboard (My Account -> Subscriptions).
Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. You will retain access to the Service until the billing period expires.
Cancellation does not affect outstanding charges incurred before cancellation.
For QuickPacks, you may abandon checkout at any time before payment. Once payment is completed and the digital pack or assessment is generated, the transaction is considered final, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.
5. Trials
If a free trial is offered, you may cancel before the trial period ends to avoid being charged.
If not cancelled before the trial expiry date, the subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan and your nominated payment method will be charged.
6. Billing Disputes
If you believe you were charged incorrectly, please contact our support team before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback.
We will review billing concerns promptly and work in good faith to resolve any genuine errors.
Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in account suspension.
7. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Where required by law, JD Align will provide remedies for major failures or other circumstances mandated by consumer protection legislation.
